About My Addiction

In October of 2012, I picked out my first DSLR camera. I was tired of trying to take pictures of places, events and animals I saw, using my tiny point and shoot. Six months later, I started taking pictures of birds and quickly became addicted. I also quickly outgrew my equipment and upgraded my gear. Lenses are another addiction all on it’s own! Although my main passion is birds, I do take pictures of other wildlife when it presents itself. My focus, however, is on capturing the antics, beauty and wonder of nature’s most versatile and precious commodity…Birds! My feathered friends bring me joy, peace, stress release, and a feeling of being at one with nature. I hope my pictures capture these feelings for you as well.
